V.V.Koshtoev. INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND PHENOMENON OF LIFE

In the book from positions of the systemic and informa tion approaches a problem of essence of such concepts as infor mation system (IS), information, information processes and live systems (LS) is discussed, are analyzed characteristic for LS processes of display and perception. A problem of discrimina tion of directed (physical) and teleological (information) pro cesses is investigated. Interrelation of such the most specific qualities of mentality of the human individual as self- con sciousness and ability to trust with basic purpose of onthogen esis of the person is considered. In the result of research of listed problems the author comes to a conclusion, that from the most general reasons, strictly adhering principles of the system approach, it is pos sible to assert, in particular, the following: - the basic specific quality of LS is their immanent abil ity for information interactions, i.e. LS is natural IS; - transition from any physical systems to the information ones in the result of any purely physical development is impos sible; - therefore the natural IS, i.e. LS, alongside with the physical systems (lifeless substance) are primary and are the fundamental form of existence of the substance; - hence it is necessary to agree, that in Being there is some global hierarchy of LS; - the information processes are teleological, i.e. have the information reason as an image of the purpose, for the sake of achievement of which they are realized; - therefore at cognition of the environmental world, ex actly of the living substance, is quite reasonable to use the methods of teleology; - with a large degree of probability the evolutionary pro cess of alive on the Earth is the information process; - the most specific properties of mentality of the person: self-consciousness and ability to trust, - are in the closest interrelation with a problem of realizing of the purpose, sense of life of the human individual; - the human consciousness, both individual, and public, can not at a formalized level adequately, and in general to re alize the LS of the higher level; - therefore sense of life of the person as the essence, belonging to a higher level of hierarchy LS, does not yield to understanding by formalized consciousness; - this problem till now is solved the most adequate from the positions of religious point of view; - therefore expedient development at a modern level of principles of teleology is represented. K.K.Kipiani, V.V.Koshtoev. BASES OF THE APPLIED THEORY OF DIGITAL AUTOMATIC DEVICES

The manual "Bases of the Applied Theory of Digital Auto matic Devices", intended for the students, specialized in any area of computing engineering, has the following structure. In the beginning the most general concepts on information bases of digital automatic devices are briefly described. Fur ther, with numerous examples, are consistently considered; - widespread notations and forms of representation of num bers in digital automatic devices; - principles of organization of arithmetic actions with binary and binary-decimal numbers and organization of the con trol of work of the digital automatic device; - basis of algebra of logic, methods of simplification and minimization of logic functions; - methods of the analysis and synthesis of the logic elec tronic circuits. Bases of the theory of automatic devices are briefly de scribed, methods of structural synthesis of digital automatic devices are brought. General principles of development of algo rithms and algorithms of hardware realization of arithmetic ac tions in digital automatic devices are considered. In the appendix systematically the determinations of all specific concepts and terms are brought, which were used in the text of the manual. Volume of the book: 143 page.

K.K.Kipiani, V.V.Koshtoev. STANDARD INTERFACES OF INFORMATION-COMPUTING SYSTEMS

In the given manual the information is systematically stated, the knowledge of which is necessary for competent de velopment of both operation hardware and software of standard interfaces (SI); in the first turn "cable" SI and SI of magis tral-modular multiprocessor systems. In the beginning the general concepts about the informa tion, information systems (IS), information-computing systems (ICS), and their typical structures are given and discussed. Concept of the interface is entered and with gradual detailed elaboration the basic procedures of the protocol and hardware of interfaces, ensuring information interchange between func tional elements of IS and ICS are considered. Concept of SI, in particular is discussed, basic parameters of interfaces are listed, compatibility of which these standards are to supply. Different principles of classification of SI and basic distinctive characteristic of a various type of SI are consid ered. Some elements of the theory of signals and communication lines are stated, the knowledge of which is necessary for pre cise understanding of principles of realization of hardware of interfaces. Further with a various degree of detailed elaboration are described, in particular, such SI, as €ђЏђ, €ђЏ‘, group of interfaces as RS, CAMAC, VME, Fastbus, Multibus II, Futurebus. As an example of the system interface of the computer is considered the interface Q-bus, and also the brief review of popular system of interfaces of personal computers is brought. In the last chapter of the book the basic characteristics of LCN, principles of their construction, and also the review of some popular types LCN are brought. As a typical example of practical ways of transformation of the signals types in the application 1 the principles of functioning of DAC and ADC of a various types are briefly de scribed. The manual is intended for the students, being spicial ized in the field of computing engineering, automatic control systems and automatic measurement systems, and also intended for a wide sections of the experts in these areas. Volume of the book: 130 page.
